Image analysis of the previous screenshot. I resized it once and saved as jpg at maximum quality, because the server couldn't take 1680x1050.

    http://errorlevelanalysis.com/permalink/2e2bd22/

Error level analysis is a quick and easy image forensics method, allowing one to determine if an image has been modified by programs such as Adobe Photoshop.

It works by resaving an image at a known quality, and comparing that to the original image. As a jpeg image is resaved over and over again, its image quality decreases. When we resave an image and compare it to the original, we can guess just how many times the image has been resaved. If an image has not been manipulated, all parts of the image should have been saved an equal amount of times. If parts of the image are from different source files, they may have been saved a number of different times, and thus they will stand out as a different colour in the ELA test.
Not sure how relevant is this.

Pretty clear the windows cpu description was edited, doesn't even show up on the analysis. (besides being a different font and blindingly obvious anyways.)

That 1100 seems to be a SB850 limitation, since I see over 1250 easily on an add-in card with the same drives.

What typically makes ICH10R look better than SB850 are burst rates...ICH10 has (random) burst rates like no tomorrow, you might have bursts of 1200+ on just a few HDD's or two SSD's...however SB850 is better sequential.

I can't begin imagine how many "leaks" will appear in the coming month prior to BD's launch. I just hope this won't be like in Cayman's case where in the end so many were let down by its performance.(kudos to NV for the 580 being a surprise)

Well I guess that settles it then, if this and WEI scores are so easy to hack.

Apparently using this software you can hack the wei score and still remain unchanged after redoing the test. This plus his refusal to show cpuz readings plus what Olivon demonstrated plus no temperature readings for individual cores just like Phenom II and I think it's enough to show it's fake.

That's because people weren't being realistic, even AMD said it wouldn't break any records, but nobody listened because it wasn't any fun to hear.

Until we get a real leak from a credible person/website,all of this is just BS. But credible sources won't break the NDA,so there won't be real leaks until the launch date...Which is under NDA too

In this article about BD, the cpuz version is not the most recent one available, so people can use newer ones and it doesnt define them as fake.
However, i think any true leaker with half a brain would give us cinebench or wprime score, or something like that.

Well its faster in that CPU test than my 955-C2 OC'd to 3.75GHz. But the scores max @ 7.9, mine ran 7.4 so it really dosent tell us anything.

Um, when we say fake the test, does that mean its not a BD in the system? That part can be changed?
