hey guys any tips for increasing BCLK? Im using F3 bios atm. Im stable 100.3x58 set (100.1 in windows) but any combination of bclk passed 101 results in some sort of failure. Most of the time it just applies the multi and keeps 100bclk and says OC failure. Other times it will just restart run for 2s then restart run for 2s etc till I clear CMOS.
55x105.5 would be great. Same chip is doing 110bclk on MIVE 3d stable.
This is almost certainly a memory issue. You're using Hypers, right?
Are you trying to use 21.33 ratio?

I've not had a problem with the b3 bios's but sometimes when pushing bclk on older b2 bios's having enable multi real time changes in os would rest my bclk in windows, may be worth a go without it.

Hey guys. I recieved my new memories 3 days ago and im happy to report that the cold bug issues have disappeared ever since i installed them. I dont want to jinx the situation cause every time i report good news i get the issue on the same day but so far its looking extremely promising. Similar situation happened to my cousin, we installed him a 2500K, MSI P67-G43 system with G.SKILl ripjaws 1600mhz 1.5v but the system would constantly reboot loop. So i took out my old back up memories Mushkin Siletto 1333mhz and surprisingly they ran perfectly fine on his machine and it booted up right away. These same back up memories were also giving me the cold boot issues untill i got the memorie sin my sig. So the moral of the story is that if you have cold boot issues, its 99.7% your memories - regardless of the motherboard. It seems this new Sandy architecture is just too sensitive with memories. I guess its cause of the IMC approach...

Glad it's working for you.
I'm not sure why gskill 1600's 1.5v's arent working properly. They work great on my system (CL9D), and I can even change the BCLK by as much as 4 mhz in one go; the board shuts off and then boots up with the new bclk. Yet there's someone else who can't change BCLK by more than 0.9 mhz each attempt, or it says overclock failed....
I have 2 dual channel sets ripjawsX, same model/serial# but programed with different SPDs/same XMPs. One of them runs stock speed undervolted, the other one can't. It's all about different sticks/sets I guess. Just like the SBs.![]()

So, did you have any luck trying tighter timings with those sticks yet?
I'm eyeballing 999000 myself right now, just to try out 4GB modules
