We can be sure it's a fake, fakers like take a pictures most of the time, and the number of cpuz was hidden,
how much this is stupid for a fake ...
How are you so sure other that just being your opinion without facts? ... just because "fakers do like this and that... " ... that's not an argument ...
Until proofs that's a valid screen ( the one showing 1.168 vcore ) ...
Well... but to say the truth ... it's not that interesting at all...
"woah... cpuz :P cool ... ok ... looked at it for 10 seconds it's enough ... nothing more? meh ... boring ... "

I think i will be buying Bulldozer but i will w8 to see how batches work ... i don't want to sell my i7 920 3849A ... so i will be getting parts as i see they are worth ( motherboard & memory ) ...
How does AMD work, first batches are good or, usually, they get better during time? Intel did a great set of batches with the 38**A series ... the later batches are far from spectacular ... so i don't know what to do ... if to buy the cpu from the first batches to come up or just w8 ... ( i'm buying the chip... even if it sucks ... but this new cpu marks a new architecture so i would like to have it :P )

I think we should all wait until AMD either release official preview scores on benchmarks we all know and trust, or just wait for the real reviews.
One thing is already certain and that is I think a lot of AMD fans need to manage their expectations and be more realistic. AMD is not a charity and will not price a SKT-2011 killer CPU at ~2600K (or less) prices. That is just not going to happen.
The days of NetBurst (which to be fair, was not bad for Video encoding and a few business applications), are well and truly over.
BD is going to be a very good and highly successful productline for AMD , but it is not the GodsmackEpicWTFBBQEPICWIN of CPU's most are making it out to be.

Stop looking at the walls, look out the window
and if it was that awesome, most of us couldnt afford it
what we know is that IF its around the perf of a 2600k, then it WOULD be priced around that aswell.

Heh
i like his other quote in there
"Want a processor with 5GHz and 16 cores? Probably possible."
hes saying that the 16 core server version can go up to 5ghz if you can cool it (or im just not reading it right and totally delusional, lol)

Your post has some value. But the corollary is also true:
Another thing is already certain and that is that a lot of Intel fans need to manage their expectations and be more realistic; and they need to stop posting completely unsupported opinions about how BD will compare to the SB or some newer chip that hasn't been released yet. (Most especially in a post about BD.)

The thing is, BD will make AMD retake the performance crown for the first time after Intel's reign of 4-5 years until SB-E comes in Q4.
I believe this is why a lot of people are over-exited.

i like to plan ahead and buy mainstream, so for me its going to come down to what can 200$ do with either brand (after a typical OC). so im betting that it will be a battle of 2500k vs either the 4 core black edition BD or 6 core low speed BD for my purchase choice.

Someone earlier said, that if AMD manages to build a chip which will be competetive with intel, theyre gonna price it sky high also.
Of course thats true.Remember Athlon FX ?.
BUT, and thats a big but ( ;- ) , because AMD cant afford to maintain multiple sockets with multiple specific chip dies, theyre forced to sell essentially the same silicon at lower price points also.
In the FX days, you could get 200-300$ chip that was essentially the same minus some binning and multi unlock.
On the intel side of thing ATM, things arent so rosy, SB is bclk locked, SBE we dont know yet, and its going to cost 500 and up for 6 core models.
So while yes ,highest end chips will be priced accordingly. The platform will be cheaper, and MOST PROBABLY, you will be able to buy same chip for much much less (look at it the way it was in the bloomfield days but withouth high x58 cost)
I think the a 2600k is well within reach of the 8 core Bulldozer, especially if you consider multitasking and multithreated apps.
If Bulldozer beats the 2600k by just 5pct, it still loses to 980x. And that's decent but no a spectacular achievement.
I expect BD to fall between 980x and 2600k and I don't think that is overhyping for an 8 core 3.4 ghz chip.
