My UD7 B3 is now dead, only lasted a few weeks. Doesnt power up, fans spin for half a second then it shuts down. Tried 2 CPUs, 2 PSUs, 2 kits of mem, 2 GPUs. Board is not getting power. Sucks, who knows how long an RMA will take

My motherboard yesterday was in a similar state. I took out the battery for a while and it works.

Nothing that I know of. Board just stopped working for no apparent reason. Hope it wasnt bios F3 that killed it somehow, it worked fine with F3 for a week.

Thats exactly how my UD7 acted when it died. Fans spin for less than 1 sec and board shuts off, long cmos clear did nothing, different psu, cpu, mem nothing worked.

Im not sure how long the RMA process takes, Im still waiting for my new board. I shipped it out last monday.

I hope my UD5 won't die like that. It's been just as stable (with F3g) as my P5wdh board before it. But then again I'm not using any fancy stuff...
(only blue screens are with the X-fi, starting Xtrap games occasionally...)

F3 final is less stable...(XP crashes on shutdown sometimes)

    Hi guys,

    just stumbled upon this :

Z68-UD7 to be released pretty soon.

Now look at the box cover :

Looks like UEFI coming to Gigabyte at last (Touch BIOS).

Any chance to get UEFI on our P67A-UD7 boards? if not I would be super-pissed really....

What's the most stable bois right now. Board shipped with F2. I read that F3 still has some issues. Should I go with F3h?

Also, any word on how F4a is?

    Thanks

I'm still awaiting my B3, but if it does die i'll just trash it and buy a Z68 motherboard. I hope Gigabyte continue to support the P67. I'll be extremely annoyed if they drop support only after a few months.
