It seems that's BD (1 gen) will fit in it.
Past months, almost everybody believed that would be impossible and BD processor would be AM3+ only.
That's the point.
Why some divergences between AMD and its partners ?
AM3 backward compatibilty is really a good point and why AMD don't communicate about that ?

It's approx. april and the cpu is gonna to be announced on June so why AMD it's not clear about that ?
I obviously can't speak for Asus, right? I can only say what I know. People keep coming back to me to ask me how this can be and all I can tell you is what I know from the AMD side. You need to be asking Asus that question.

Btw im happy non turbo enabled 1055T in an old Am2+ board user

Also JF it would be great if you could answer a question, is 990FX+ SB950 combo are going to be new/improved (on a hardware level, masks) chips ?
This way you wont say us nothing yet will say us a lot .
Some people speculate its going to be exactly the same with new name stamped on it and IOMMU enabled.
Yeah, if I could restate that I would. The reality is there is no magic pixie dust that will allow AMD to support BD in anything other than AM3+. That would have been more accurate.

As for the other stuff, I am not a desktop guy so I don't know.
