Went on my 980, GTX480, just simply incredible
Honestly I dont see how the Q6600 @ 3.4Ghz is bottlenecking the GTX580 on Heaven 2.5 when CPU usage barely goes over 20%

If its bottlenecked I should be seeing a constant 25% cpu usage or even higher.

But on other games yeah I know my Q6600 is a bottleneck since in a lot of games I dont see the GPU pegged at 99% unlike my previous GTX285 in which almost all games pegged it at 99% usage.

i've just discovered that i need 1.025 to run 900mhz, 772mhz def speed and 1.000v stock voltage...gotta try to increase gpu speed by using less possible voltage :P

Pretty sweet at 1.025 for 900Mhz core.

My card on the other hand sucks at OCing what im doing now is just pegging it to 875Mhz core and trying to find the lowest possible voltage.

Seems like 1.038 is the lowest I can go with 875, it does 900Mhz at 1.1v but its too much.. never had luck with overclocking videocards since ever.

I run some regular loops on Crysis and Heaven 2.5 and yesterday just on the first loop I got a red lens flare glitch on heaven 2.5 which never came out before, So yeah I was pretty happy till i saw that glitch.

Thanks mate. Yeah thought I deserved a present, so I picked one up. It seems like a nice CPU, it's very close to my gem batch W3570 in terms of vcore and the IMC is very good too.

For me that's too hot. You need watercooling!

Hard to judge for me at that speed, what does it need for 900/1800 ?

Not sure, I watercool. But look at what the card runs at stock for an indicator, but I wouldn't like to run a $500+ card at 90*C, upper 70's for me on air back in the day was as high as I'd tolerate. Everyone will have a different opinion though so don't just follow what I suggest. It's really just up to you.
