prove a dual vga with a core i5 is a sin
well, the true question is ... how it will scale with some voltage tweaks ... that's what i'm really expecting to knowthese gf110 like to run "wild" and i saw with the 580 that if i had a little more voltage and pushed the core freq they would give a huge leap forward in performance...

But i must admit, the final comments and the thumbs of up, looked like a paid "puppet" ... ehehehhe
Also, i think the system he's using for review, should be a little softer than 12Gb of Ram, 980x and a G1 mobo ... eheheh ...

Well theres a reason AMD uses and NV used up to now those smaller weirder fans.If i remember correctly they work better than standard ones if you have another card right beneath first one.
Im glad tho that they finally resigned on this idea, if someone is going to use two such cards, theyre gonna put them under water.
As to why its quieter also, im betting some heavy duty undervolting is going on.And i personally think thats a GOOD idea.On stock you get powerfull yet quietish card.If you want maximum performance, then crank up RPM`s and voltage.Maybe some heavy binning also, because AMD on HD6990 didnt really bin chips different than 69xx.
Ati and Nv should realize what kind of people are folks who buy them. They all should come with software giving you full control on everything and ability to set power/volt/clock/fan speed/temperature profiles.Standard limiting doesnt work and is worthless. As they started to discover in this generation.
Wow... so the performance is pretty much the same as 6990, as well as the price... now, how about power draw / temperatures / noise?
It's not the resolution, it's the compression. I could hardly see anything![]()
since the Graphic Card is going to be released today, I want to thank everyone that particpate with reports, photos and information.
I'm sure I'm going to find prospect threads to meet with your interesting opinions.![]()

The frequency standard 607, 1214, 3412 MHz, respectively, per core, shader and memory, and a voltage of 0.937 volts, we were able to pass without overvolt, 770, 1540, 3920 MHz by increasing the voltage to 1.23 volts, most, we got to 979, 1958, 4118 MHz A monstrous leap forward, a sign of great overcloccabilità core of GF110, and Nvidia's decision to keep rates low to reduce noise, fuel consumption and temperature.
