not at the moment, if anything it's actually the same if not lower as the cards aren't working as hard. I am aware that I may struggle through the summer months, at the moment it's a wait and see, but if it turns out I need more cooling then it's not a problem and more will be added.

These might be of interest for 800D (and front panel for 700D too) owners - Corsair released upgrade kits for them such as USB3 front panel kit and SATA6Gbps hotswap disk connector plate.

cstkl1: probably yes. I've seen several builds with thick rads in push-pull on top of 800D.

Anyone getting a strange cracking sound from the side panel when it is mounted? I get it and it is driving me crazy...

yes just push, I'm dubious that push & pull would make much of a difference to be honest

Gareth: yup, only some 25% for slow fan speeds (less for powerful extreme fans). But there are always people wishing to squeeze every single of cooling performance out from LC gear they have and in many cases adding more fans is simple/cheap enough thing to do relative to rest of modding needed to fit biger rads and alike ..

my system is quite comfortable at the moment, temperatures in the UK are fairly low though and I may struggle in the summer, but if I do i'll address the issue then.

yes I get the same thing. Just random cracking noises everynow and then when the system is in use and the side panel is on.

Yep...strange sound from the side panel when it is mounted.
In my 800D also hear it.
The panel acts as a membrane, enhances the vibration generated by the pump.

cstkl1 use push-pull for slow fan speeds.
Capacity will increase slightly but do not expect too much.
I was not enough so I chose a very effective solution.
I plan to add Black Ice SR1 560.
    Work in progress...

Yes it does with 6FM123. prob is a lot of ppl dont clock high enough on to the edge clocking. Half of their mobo's are used for decorative purpose

ok so can a 800D fit a RX360 Push Pull config of a 25thickness fan?
nobody has given me a definitive answer on this
cause it looks like a no no. or relative quite close to the mobo

Added a Lamptron FC5v2 fan controller and 2 syringes of Primochill Dye Bomb Blood Red and some more LEDs and a Red Thermaltake Exhaust fan. And yes, I know it looks tacky with different types and brands of fans but eventually I will switch to ALL one type/brand. Thinking on Enermax Vegas Red or Magmas. Cant decide if I want LED's on them or just deep red fins with no LED's on them.

@cstkl1: My build has a 360 radiator in the top with a push/pull fan configuration. Not sure if the rad and fans I use is thicker or thinner than the one that you are proposing to use, but mine barely fit, so if yours is bigger, you might run into issues.

@Gareth: Very nice build! Yours is how I want mine to be. Guess I need to get back to work on fixing the sleeving and modifying the build to suit my tastes.
