But then I ran into some very weird behavior: trying out DDR3-2133, I found out a tRCD of 9 causes an infinite cycle of reboots. Instead of hanging with the DRAM LED on as was expected, the POST goes past the VGA phase, then the PC shuts down. With the exact same settings, I can boot into Windows with a tRCD of 8 (yes, 8) although it is not very stable, which doesn't make any sense.
Has anyone seen anything like this?
