I know they expect perfection from a platform so new with BIOS codes that are very new, that is why across all manufacturers and lines people are having problems. At least be happy with what you have b/c it doesn't get better. i don't own a UD7, but some of the stuff i hear is caused by crappy OC ability. UD7 owns as the highest P67 clock has been achieved.

Is f8i better for cold boot issues? F8f was still problematic for me and I only need 4.7. Asus seems to have fixed their cold boot issues; gigabyte are falling behind...can somone lt me know what to do; any beta bios that enables pll overvoltage has cold boot issues...................................! I am only at 4.7 1.38 stable in prime, occt, memtest......
Help!
Right now I am forced to use 4.5 under bios 7 as that does not have the pll overirde....not at all what I was expcting from a expensive gigabyte board!
still fighting cold boots and crap with my 2600K even at 4.6 , anyone tried F8i yet? I'm currently on F8f atm, I had luck with 4.4 on F8b but even after a 14 hr prime test and couple of weeks of stablity an issue arose.
What I want to know is if the B3 boards resolve the cold booting (or shutdown+power on) problems or not. That will be very interesting to know....
Good question re b3 and cold booting? Not sure if those boards will have differnt bios's?
Last i checked this was the UD4 discussion thread?
Your UD7 does great? awesome.. I'm a prominent member of ANOTHER forum, regularly, as some others who have posted on this thread may be.
Could it be like me, they did not have a discussion thread on the matter at thier own home forum![]()
For any that might care, Flashed back to F3 from bios in this thread, mine shipped with F4. Stablest yet.. let me boot with all voltage on auto besides vcore = "normal" and D_VID = "normal" i was able to post with no reboot mood swings from 4.4 to 4.9 consecutively in 1x increments with no booting problems
Looks my chip walls at 4.6 so far thoughbut hey.. cant complain about the performance for 24/7
I posted my review on this board, let me know what you guys think.

I have an UD4 rev 1.0 with F3 BIOS but when I try to flash something newer like F7, it will say the file is invalid?? I am flashing from BIOS with F8 to go to EZFlash.
What's the problem? It's the correct BIOS :s
Edit: seems I need to flash in dos or windows so ezflash gets updated for newest bios. Will try tonight

You must use the latest FlashSPI via DOS, or @BIOS to update from the shipped BIOS.

You can flash to any BIOS you like, no order or midway flash is needed, but I do suggest using the latest final or latest beta.
