There is nothing wrong with using LLC2. Im using it right now and im stable as a rock 24/7 with HT on and 1.39 in bios.

better than having to sacrifice speed in order to have llc1.

Get ready you UD7 guys, incoming!

    1st P67 B3 mobo seen around here.

Slate wiped clean with fresh new F1 BIOS?

Well, looks like the stock F1 BIOS on the new B3 mobo is quite nicely matured for some overclocking, so far no strange quirks seen yet.

    Nice!

Interesting. Anyone know if B2 BIOS can be used on B3 and vice versa? Cant see why the BIOS would be different, it is probably the latest official B2 BIOS renamed.

Using llc2 allows you to run lower idle vcore, it looks better in a cpuz screen showing 4800mhz 1.39v vs 4800mhz 1.45v. However when you put the chip under load your vcore will go above 1.4v if you are using 1.39v bios and LLC2, yet you insult someone who's chip needs roughly the same vcore load as your chip because he chose to use a different LLC option.

This is about having fun, learning, and helping others, and not about insulting people.
