As said in that thread, throwing this kind of rumors/announcement right now, just before the release of GTX595, suggests AMD doesn't have anything to beat/match GTX595 until then.

Good question, why are they so quiet about 6990? Do you think they have accepted the defeat already?

I hope you have some reasoning for throwing "fanboy" on me. Otherwise that would say more about yourself.
Good old forum users, like you, should be an example for others, spescially new users. You can't stamp "fanboy" and dismiss all critical views on AMD!

They are quiet about 6990, and throwing this kind of rumors/announcement right now, just before the release of GT590 , suggests Nvidia doesn't have anything to beat/match GTX590 until then. You can't dismiss these points by stamping me. You need constructive reasoning for that.

I only dismiss ridiculous fanboy claims about a rumor of unreleased product that is rumored to be faster than it's competitor's rumored product. Repetitively. In numerous threads.
Until you get solid evidence (proof, fact; NOT rumor) of some product coming out earlier or being faster, all such claims are clear fanboyism.

He didnt attack you personally, just stated obvious fact that youre biased towards nvidia ,and pretty much your every "statement of the fact" is only rumour spreading or plain false.
ATM we dont know anything solid about GTX590 OR HD6990.What we DO know, AMD after releasing HD5970 had the single card performance crown.Yet you time after time insist about AMD`s "demise" "collapse" "defeat" etc etc.
In spite of all this "facts" you put out AMD seems to execute just they way they intended, for 3 or 4 years already.
IF nvidia will launch non pcie spec compliment cards built around two GF110`s , its going to annihilate everything on the market, including your wallet.Thats obvious.But such a card is going to be nothing more than a publicity stunt.
But if we take into account 300W PCIE spec.Things turn to the AMD`s side, because AMD has ,again, OBVIOUSLY, more efficient per watt design.
And for the moment, its all we have, some estimations, and two different categories of product.
Yet you somehow know about AMD`s "defeat", in a game that we dont know even what the rules are.
So a good advice :-) ,if you dont want to be viewed as a fanboy, before posting your thoughts, read them again, in hunt for any "apocalyptic" kind of statements ;-)

You do realize that calling someone a fanboy is no crime. You clearly support NVidia above all. You have not not been posting anything credible to support your "nvidia will crush ati" stance yet you push this idea like crazy. I hope nvidia really does something crazy to push the envelope but im not going to let that stand in the way of logic. Not that it matters anyhow. None of this discussion matters really.
