^^ If that GPUZ screenshot is real... then this card indeed does use two GTX 580's.
AMD Threadripper 12 core 1920x CPU OC at 4Ghz | ASUS ROG Zenith Extreme X399 motherboard | 32GB G.Skill Trident RGB 3200Mhz DDR4 RAM | Gigabyte 11GB GTX 1080 Ti Aorus Xtreme GPU | SilverStone Strider Platinum 1000W Power Supply | Crucial 1050GB MX300 SSD | 4TB Western Digital HDD | 60" Samsung JU7000 4K UHD TV at 3840x2160
if that shot is real... I'm happy to have 2 x 6950's
I believe those are early shot of gtx580, not gtx 590 (gpu-z 0.4.8 wtf?!)

An unfortunate person is one tries to fart but sh1ts instead...
My Water Cooling Case Build (closed)
These must be super-cherry picked chips if this is true. Still I wonder how did they fit inside the 300W...

Yeah it does look fake, look t the white borders in the box. And the GPU-Z version is old anyway and will not recognize new unreleased cards anyway.

The thing that immediately comes to my mind was that one rumor a while back about possible 240 SPs on GF116. But that doesn't really make sense.
Given the 1 GB memory it looks like this variant of GF116 will only have a 128-bit bus (or could be 256, that would be a change…).
The only other thing I can think of is much higher clocks. If the clock increase is as much as GTX 460 » GTX 560 Ti, then we have 954/1908 for GTX 550 Ti, and if the FLOPS increase is the same, then we have 1090/2181…![]()
Back again with new rumor
SourceAccording to the latest rumors, Nvidia could show the public the first video card based on two family GTX GPU-500 East at the PAX 2011.
The event will be held from 11 to 13 March in Boston (Massachusetts) and this year provides for the presence of all the partners of the Californian: Asus, EVGA, Galaxy, Gigabyte, MSI, Palit, PNY and Zotac. .
I think we will see this card in PAX East 2011![]()
Considering NVIDIA has been doing the public launch of these items at event such as PAX, it makes sense. Whether or not it will actually "launch" before that is anyone's guess.![]()

I heard the reviewers will get the card tomorrow...
CPU: Intel Core i7 3930K @ 4.5GHz
Mobo: Asus Rampage IV Extreme
RAM: 32GB (8x4GB) Patriot Viper EX @ 1866mhz
GPU: EVGA GTX Titan (1087Boost/6700Mem)
Physx: Evga GTX 560 2GB
Sound: Creative XFI Titanium
Case: Modded 700D
PSU: Corsair 1200AX (Fully Sleeved)
Storage: 2x120GB OCZ Vertex 3's in RAID 0 + WD 600GB V-Raptor + Seagate 1TB
Cooling: XSPC Raystorm, 2x MCP 655's, FrozenQ Warp Drive, EX360+MCR240+EX120 Rad's
I mean... my 580 dcu II , can touch the 400W when clocked! What the hell are they doing to the 590 to stay under... so, i won't be surprised if that GPU-Z "fake" will turn out to be true ... the 6** Core is pretty "believable".
I think that the 590's will loose that equilibrium that GTX 295 had.
These GF110's are good but my guess is that they are to be used as single GPU's ... they are not good enough for dual gpu single pcb, in terms of power consumption and heat optimization ...
My guess is that next year's dual gpu solution will be a freaking beast .... and that this year they will do it for the sake of competitive performance against AMD.
Hope i'm really mistaken and that they do a fantastic job with the dual gpu![]()

Oh...your ass is grass and I've got the weed-whacker.
my 570 GXT can do 300watts when OCed and OCP disabled with only 1.1v.
Going to be a beast of a card... An expensive beast to be sure.
