Is there an updated version of the Asus P5Q Deluxe (without Wifi).

Especially one with an updated Intel RAID ROM bios?

Other updates would be nice as well.

See the release notes for your BIOS for full details. Now, obviously, I don't own any of these boards so haven't been able to test the BIOSes, but there shouldn't be any problems. As always feedback is welcome.

I don't have any backups of those files they were a one time thing. I also don't know what the hell megaupload is doing, I haven't deleted those files from my MU account.

I'm in the process of making one final update to the P5Q / Pro / -E / Deluxe / Premium BIOSes. For now here is a modded P5Q Pro BIOS. Note I can't test this BIOS atm because my P5Q Pro board has died (again) and I won't have a new one for a week or so.

Changelog:

- Update Memory Table to P5Q Pro Turbo 0602
- Update Intel Option ROM to v10.1.0.1008
- Update Marvell Option ROM to v1.1.0.L73 (RAID)
- Update P6 Microcode table to P5Q Premium 2406 (fix QX9650 multi)

In the instructions it states, "Install the supplied "USB Boot" package and double click the desktop icon once installed". Well I see no "USB Boot" package. What am I missing?

I hesitate to release any further modded BIOSes atm because after RMAing my dead board to the etailer, they tell me they can't get a replacement so I can't test any changes

I have a board arriving in the next few days, a used P5Q Deluxe (ebay to the rescue...) but BIOS mods will have to wait a bit as I lent out the PSU and graphics to a mate while the system was down so I'll have to get those back first.

The system is partially rebuilt now so hopefully in the next week I can try a few things. Board arrived to me in a damn horrible state though. Took ages dismounting and cleaning everything.

The P5Q line is as good as neverending, so I've stuck with the "primary" P5Q boards. Which are the P5Q, Pro, -E, Deluxe and Premium.

Well I've had this P5Q-E now somewhere around 2 years overclocked and is still going strong {overclocked to just over 4Ghz} with Q9550 and still loving it.

Theres certainly nothing wrong with a P5Q and quad combo still thats for sure. With good memory you can still scrape in with 10GB/s bandwidth. Perhaps thats why so many people still ask me for P5Q mods because the systems are crazy powerful still

That final batch of mBIOSes are in danger of never appearing I'm afraid. Today I tested the P5Q Deluxe I got off ebay and even by testing two different graphics cards, two different PSUs, two different sets of memory and a Q8400 CPU, all known to be working (tested with a Maximus 2 Formula), and the board will not POST. It will power up, but no display what so ever. Feeling very annoyed atm as the seller had 100% feedback and even stated the board as in full working order (liar) I will try one more PSU, and if that doesn't work the only way I'll be able to release one last batch of mBIOSes is if somebody happens to read this post and has a spare P5Q Pro or similar kicking about they can donate.

Good news everybody! The dodgy P5Q Deluxe I was sold I have revived and early tests show it functioning perfectly so the last batch of mBIOSes are back on
