I also disabled full screen logo during bootup so I dont have to see the face. Yes I have to see it in the bios, but here's my standpoint. I get everything adjusted and how often am I going back into the bios after I have it set the way I want it? Probably never again.

So I didn't mind the $30 bucks I paid to get basically extra marvel sata III ports over an extreme6. To me it was worth it especially with as many drives as I have and now I don't have to buy a sata controller card for that price.

Also, that short and long turbo limits were the key to stopping the thermal throttling. I find it strange though that this is the only board with this peculiar problem and solution.
Extreme4 & 6 have short and long (W) settings as well As for stuff like thermal throttling.. I always turn that off it still doesn't really work right. Speedstep is all you really need. Extreme4 & 6 also have quite a few SATA3 ports, Extreme4 has 4, and Extreme6 has 6 I think. In the UK at least, the P67 Fatality is stupidly priced @ £200+, the Extreme6 @ £150, and the Extreme4 @ £115. With all the stuff crammed into the Extreme4 it was too tempting to pass on otherwise I would of got the Extreme6.. still might
