    [COMPLETED] Project Vanessa - CM690 II - last pics @ pag 2

    Hello evry1 after almost an year stoped its time to put some water

    at almost one year(its about 10months) i have modded my CM690II

    the result was these: (hope you like it)



    first thoughts waht to do with sidepanel...

    Gorgeous! I'm considering sending that into MDPC!

    I don't know what you could put there, but that little bit near the front intake fan is pretty empty.
    Signatures make my posts look huge... but I'm not humble enough to completely remove my signature, so I kept this note explaining it.

    Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

    that empty place will take and 240rad
    also planning to make something to hide the PSU, rad and cables in the bottom(dont know the exact name for that its L in aluminium )

    hehe its a bit like that, next you should try is watercooling, U know what they say.. Once u go water you never go back! it's just a matter of breaking the big V , Also when sleeving i buy the pre cut sleeve from MDPC-x saves the time of cutting and looks neater as i could never all the sleeving cut the same size

    eh...the propose of this thread its to presente what i have done and tell that ill WC this case and show my work log in WC

    well the sleeve...i know it should be rebuild, but budget isnt big enought to WC+re-sleeve
    the precutted Heatshirk is a new for me...when i bought the sleeve that option didnt existed looks like a really nice option to make sleeve look even better!

    U definately need to open those blocks and give them a good scrub, These 2nd hand ???

    Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

    ye this stuff is in 2nd hand..i found a good price for it

    but its kinda dirty need to be cleaned(work for weekend probably)

    im thinking in do a niquel bath in the gpu block, gonna look much better

    it dont needs screws..

    the cover was made by the size, so it dont need screws, well actually is kinda hard to put it inside de case i need to do some gymnastics
    as you can see in following pic, in more detail, it is holded by bottom of the pci drives and the psu holder




    next time i dismount it ill take some pics of the mounting process :P
