The 1GB is aiming to the same marked as 2GB, but that's actually a 6970 which you get for just $20 more in reality, so it means that's both same marked, and no marked for 1GB it in reality.
No, it's not aiming at the same market and yes, the market does exist, and I got what you mean, after the edit. (it's "market" btw.)

Two objections: Prices are not set in stone, with rebates etc. that 1GB version might end-up easily around 249$, if AMD and/or AIBs decide so. Second, after the pcb revision, the 2GB might not unlock anymore. Or it gets quietly EOLed and the 6970 gets it's price lowered a little for consolation. Sounds likely, given the yields of those chips.

But until it happens, we can debate in circles until we fall over. Let's humbly wait and see what happens.

That was too many assumptions and if if .. but ..

No need for circle, you have answered yourself, you just were not aware of it.

The 1GB is aiming to the same market, therefore they have to drop the price to differentiate it, and then they may be able to sell it. As you have answered yourself.

Humble people doesn't trough "Invalid arguments" and "BS" on others, they listen and learn. But I think we agree now, and don't need to continue.

LOL. No, the markets the cards are aimed differ and I have already outlined how. Wheter they need or need not to drop prices, is yet to be seen, will depend on what the GTX560 (that's what the topic is about ) brings to the table, mainly price-wise. It's their buisness and they will do what they think will bring the biggest profits. And get of your high horse, ok?

Wow, he wants to say after I saw this card from Gigabyte. Ultimate frequency and the complete structure. The card allows you to change the tension of the MEM and GPU power to control phase and a solid heat sink and mounted components. This cannon, beating the Radeon HD 6970(I think he meant 6870) and has breakfast and GeForce GTX 570!

Too bad I had to mess up the results ... but a few more days and see them all ...

    IMO with gtx 460 going on sale for 150... 135... 125... 100... 90...

GTX 560 is fine and dandy. but if it is just gtx 460 with some more cores and 100mhz extra overclock, gtx 460 remains pretty damn king.

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

I'd wait for the final release of the 560 so you can compare.. But the differences are listed here.. The 560 Ti's come stock with 1000 on the core, others come stock as listed in the screeny..

Im going to wait 2 more weeks and see if the 570s drop at all.A evga superclocked 570 is 369 now.

I need to do some reasearch to see how the 570s are over clocking as it looks like people will get 1000mhz on air with the 560 and that pretty much is what a stock 570 performs like right?

I'd get 570 just for some extra VRAM and VRAM speed.

Sadly, I remember seeing him touting the HD69xx series as the second coming, and we know how that turned out.
