This case is really "the case" for anyone who uses a extreme Watercooling system.

But still, i get my "Mega Box" and I'm happy ...

The link to my case: Scratch Build: Mega Box = Corsair Obsidian 800D + Silverstone Raven 02

The TJ11 is 10 cm taller than mine, but mine has more than 5 cm long and more 3 cm wide.

    Are "almost brothers"...

And in my final exit for about R$ 500,00 (in brazilian money, around U$ 200 or €$ 150), and TJ11 for a kidney... but still worth it for those who "can spend " $$$...

Both the TJ07 and 800D here in Brazil are priced from R$ 1.500,00 to 2.000,00, the equivalent of U$ 850,00 to 1.100,00 or €$ 550,00 to 700,00 more or less.

The TJ11 should arrive here in Brazil the price from R$ 2.500,00 to 3.000,00, equivalent to U$ 1.400,00 to 1.650,00 or €$ 850,00 to 1.000,00 more or less.

These prices of both the 800D as the other "tops cases" were the reason I make the "Mega Box"...

Every time I see this case I puke a little in my mouth. It is easily the ugliest case Silverstone has ever made.

I'm not a fan of the design but I am excited to see what the murderbox guys can do with it.

Does not look like it will perform well. Even if it did, the asking price is too tooo high. Not sure if want.

I can't see them using it. MurderMod's are all about clean aesthetics. This has absolutely nothing of that. No amount of modding is going to fix that.

Silverstone's basically just doing what Antec did: taking a very solid line of cases in the hundred series and trying to add features that make them look disgusting in the Dark fleet series

    looks hideous

i'm really disappointed with lianli and silverstone; their prices are skyrocketing yet their new cases offer nothing over their predecssors

i want a nice case where i can drop 8 HDDs in a decoupled Cage together with 1 big rad and 1 ODD drive

i guess that i have to wait for the fractal design arc which has great looks and is able to house a triple rad; 8 drives; ODD drive; long VGAs in a midi tower form factor

coolermaster and fractal make the best cases right now

The price of aluminium is going up very fast; the current trade price is around USD6.00 per KG. So manufacturers need to either increase the price of their cases or they use thinner panels.

The TJ11 is surely expensive but bear in mind that there is about USD100 worth or aluminium in that case. And that's just material cost! If you have a little experience of manufacturing, you can see that some of their design choices are making this case very expensive to make.

But it is still expensive and frankly not very good looking. But it is difficult to follow up on the TJ-07, it is and will remain a classic.

Not too bad... could be better. I myself are fan of the TJ07 thought. It's a hard for Silverstone to beat or replace as a flagship model.

... I like steel cases <.< ... There seems to be a lot of hate for steel cases out there.. Let's face it, if you build a computer in a tower-case, weight is not your number one concern, and a nice made, properly built steel case can last forever... And I actually like the TJ11 as well, as far as looks go... I dunno if I think it's worth 400€, but I like the design.... On the other hand, I have a Raven RV02, so my opinion might be null and void...

    Best Regards

Why not just update the TJ07 a little? Add more space on the bottom and a few more expansion slots for xl-atx. Add some usb 3.0 jacks in front. Done.

Thinking I will probably buy the TJ11 next pay. Trying to wait until Ivy Bridge before getting my watercooling components though so won't be doing anything with it really

Should probably just buy another 580 instead but the case looks better.

    Thumbs up

Got it; looks great up close and personal, best case I've ever setup for watercooling and it fits my 980X and dual 6990's with 1 x 420 and 1 x 320mm rads + pump + 3xSSD's + dvdrom + 1TB HDD + fan controler blah blah with easy.
