lol, u are kiding? Did u mean seriously?! look better at it.
1)Phenom FX logo and parallelism with original AMD BOX
    2) reflextion on this fake logo etc
    3) logical reasoning "why would amd start Phenom FX now" :-) Zambezi will coming in next months in Q2.

Lol, 6k series is Northern Islands. 7k is Southern Islands. And we cant know that TMSC and GF both or other of them gets 28nm production ready this year.

Did they get to smaller process in 9 series chipsets or are they done in same process as 8 series chipsets?

Dude, it's from CES, and apparently Bulldozer is gonna be branded as Phenom like Deneb just a FX.

Why would AMD post fakes on their own fanpage on facebook FROM CES?

We were supposed to have 28nm GPU's before 2011 from TSMC. It was delayed to this year.
28nm from GF is still in question.

32nm was supposed to be ready last year, not 28nm. Then they ditched 32nm.

Dude, seriously, chill out? I posted this because I found it on AMD's OWN facebook page.

And I know my share of AMD too, so I wouldn't just post this to add nothing.

Then again there are conflicting sources about which one of them is Southern and Northern.

Actually, they were going to have a 32nm and a 28nm node. Then they dropped 32nm.

Someone used an old prerelease Phenom logo made before the cancellation of the FX name.

That's what I've been wondering too. FX might not indicate the highest performance parts, but be only a suffix for the whole bulldozer line.

That picture is indeed there. AMD using the Phenom name for Zambezi makes sense as Phenom is a brand people identify AMD with. I see no wrong in that, especially when it shows up and bulldozes the competition.

oh no mens, ....Phenoms is brand for K10 architecture. Phenoms are Phenoms and Zambezi is Zambezi.
Phenoms is name for desktop CPUs K10/K10.5 (refresh K10), here are some core names as Deneb, Agena, Heka, thuban etc. This is "stars" series. Now we will see new architecture, not K10 refresh! New architecture is codename Bulldozer, but...desktop name is Zambezi (server Interlagos etc) and die name is Orochi.

Well, really I don't know. But why would AMD post that their facebook from CES?

They could still be naming the scheme Phenom, like underline Phenoms are Athlons.

I don't believe it is an AMD picture.

Someone else pointed out a "circuit city" banner behind it. They went out of business at least 2 years ago, right?

picture might be from 2008 before Phenom FX was cancelled, if i recall correctly they had a backstage demo of a barcelona based phenom FX which never made it to the market (3ghz model)

the Phenom logo without the II behind the FX logo supports this

Then the picture must have been posted by an accident, I don't know.

It's in the CES 2011 album on the fanpage made by AMD.
