I have removed this statement, as it might lead to confusion.

In general design terms, the VRM plate is removable; this design feature could potentially accomodate different configurations.

Last time I bought from EK it was cheaper than frozencpu.. EK wants 70 euro just to ship the blocks.. which comes to $280 usd vs waiting for frozen/performance pcs and getting it for $110 per block with 5-10 shipping.

    Eddy! WTF!

I looked up my last shipment.. it was $14 for shipping earlier this year.

    Hi,

Not possible to be 14$ or something was not correct.
The problem gets when the parcel exceeds 2kg, and the priority cost jumps, and the shipping costs also went up this year 2 times.
Sorry, we are not earning anything on the shipping.
But I checked the inserted weight and it was little too big. Now the weights are correct, if this changes anything.

But just to be clear, we do support customers buy from our resellers and we don't dump prices or dump prices via ultra cheap shipping costs like some other EU sellers. We want our resellers to earn money.

But we are talking with another well known company to offer you much better shipping prices.

Kenji, IDKWTF happened with that purchase but, from my math, (if the VAT was 20% at the time you purchased) you paid more for the block and tax than you should have.

    $90.49 -20%=$72.39

Kentucky sales tax is 6% from what I was able to find online so $72.39 x 6%=$4.34. I'm also not sure if EK should be charging tax for US customers because I think sales tax is only collected if you have a retail outlet (brick and mortar) in that state (someone please correct me if I'm wrong on this).

This block is now also "orderable" from FCPU as of today.

@Eddy, I have one point of contention with the link I just provided, the very last line of the "features". I see your still sore over the ruckus the "vets" of the community made in forcing you to add the standoffs to your blocks. PPL with lots of experience mounting GPU blocks were shorting/killing cards at that time and it had nothing to do with their skill or experience level. With that wording you are inferring that everyone that uses the standoffs is incapable of properly installing your block. . .hmm. . .oh, wait a minute...your R3G block comes with standoffs and ppl are still frying those like hotcakes on a griddle. Maybe you should look at your products before blaming others.

    math is wrong
    90.49 = 120%
    90.49 / 120 = 0.75408333333....
    0.75408333... x 100 = $75.41

Made a thread for this at http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=264284

Our VID-AR697 for AMD Radeon HD 6950 & 6970 cards is now available. We're using nickel-plated copper, an acetal top, 0.5mm GPU microfins, and a direct water pass over the VRM.
