Gigabyte X58A-UD3R/Extreme Discussion Thread

I'm messing about overclocking my 3870x2's & trying to find the sweet spot for the IOH Core voltage. If I set auto in BIOS I get 1.3~1.4v ish so thought I'd go check the x58 datasheet http://www.intel.com/Assets/PDF/datasheet/320838.pdf as I thought 1.1v was the default & 1.4v looks like a lot.

I think page 211 table 15-11 sheet 1 & 2 are what I'm looking for but cant find any maximum voltage or absolute maximum can anyone point me in the right direction or is there simply no maximum!!!

its proved that the more IOH the more performance and gain on fps specially if you are using cross or SLI or multigpu, here's my sweetspot and 24/7

been trying a lot this lasts months as i was having problems with audio and the SLI, mobo was undervolting VTT and needed IOH and PCI and ICH stock...

here i took for ya this is with LLC1 20 passes of linx posted on the club
