It isn't such a good idea to start such a thread if you don't really care about it at all.
At least he could say something like "Sorry, but we don't care about our AMD boards right now, so there won't be any updates" or something like that. Instead he said nothing at all for quite some time

There is nobody at Asus that feels that way. All boards are being worked on. Things have not gone as smoothly or as quickly as most users or Asus would like but that does not mean the work on the boards have stopped.

Those are hefty bold claims there dude...After reading such nonsense, how would you feel, if people continued to act like little spoiled brats. Would you put in any more effort ? Like I said before, Bingo13 and Praz prolly aren't told by Asus to be here. They are here coz they want to help out. In fact I'm feeling sad for you as you and many others don't seem to have the slightest clue of how the show is run... You still didn't answer my question on how many people are working in the bios department though...

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

A friend of mine has had problems with his graphics cards in this board for some time, Asus support promised him a BIOS fix a month ago, he's still waiting, when he contacted them 2 days ago they couldn't even remember what the BIOS was for, that does not inspire confidence in the support. Bingo13 is not the only person working for Asus, he did say they promised him extra help, he has my sympathy because I know what it is like I've been in remission for over 10 years now. I'm quite happy to wait 1102 is not that bad.

He has 2x ATI 3870x2's fitted with water blocks, if they can't sort it with a BIOS fix he will buy 2 new cards but until they decide he is up in the air. They told him 3 weeks ago they had a BIOS in testing for it that they were going to send to AMI now they say they can't remember what it was for, that is not good from a support team.

Sure, but if they don't have so much time to be here and post here, they shouldn't say again and again that there will be something very soon (that was 3 or 4 month ago) or that he (bingo13) will be back on full time base, or that they will focus their work on 790FX boards now (about 2 month ago).
At least he could have said something like "sorry, but we don't have time for any further updates right now". He came to the forum 2 times in the last weeks. Both times to post something Intel related. So why no update on this thread?
Sure I don't know how many people are working there, but one thing that bingo13 said here a while ago is that there will be a lot more people working on new 790FX / AMD Bios releases, nothing happend since then...

@Praz: sorry didn't see your post before.
    thanks for the "update"

I've been having the same issue since June and it's the only reason I'm monitoring this thread. Even with BIOS 1606 which was meant to fix it, I can't get any combination of 2 NVIDIA cards to work. I'm about to put the board on eBay and grab something else.

Probably what happened is that after release they found another bug and went to fix it while they were forcused on that board...I'd imagine they work on some boards one week then move on to others the next...the reason for delay might have been passing validation and testing.

new bios for m3n-ht deluxe available.

altough officially release notes only mean "new cpus supported" the new 3202 fixes at least the nasties bug - the wrong mapping with P-states with X6 CPUs and the additional P0-state ... NICE!!!

also my CPU is now running at 800MHz@0.675V like with bios 3102 - with 3106 i needed at least 0.715V.

i hope the new bios allows a bit more OCing the CPU.

Its safe to go back only a couple. I think 1103 is still safe but let me double check.

    EDIT:

What BIOS are you trying to revert back to?

the reason why I ask, is because i am unable to get the 2nd NVIDIA VGA card plugged into PCIEX16_1 to be recognized, which was supposed to be fixed in 1606..., but I was hoping that maybe a BIOS release prior to 1606 will work?

If that can save you some time, I tried 0402, 1104, 1301, 1456, 1605, 1606, none of which detected two NVIDIA cards on the M4A89GTD.

As I wrote earlier. I have a GTX260 and a 8800GT in my M4A89GTD Pro working. Both cards are detected. ATM just the 260 is running folding@home as my PSU is at it's limits. Using the latest BIOS 1606. Before that the second card was not detected.

You're lucky; I wish mine worked as I miss the 3rd monitor for the kind of work I'm doing. What's the brand of your cards? Would you mind posting the BIOS version as detected by GPU-Z?
