efi or bios doesn't matter to me, just give me faster bootup times! I want to see the vrm section without the heatsinks! digital vrms like the ones on dfi boards haven't been seen for a long time.

    Very nice articles, thank you!
The BIOS looks really nice. Hopefully the boot times are also great.

It's just a bloody name... Marketing... What I mean is what matters. It's still a basic input/output system in essence.

Yes and no. It's not just a new interface, EFI drops all the legacy support dating back to the IBM AT from 1981 which we no longer need. I'm more excited about the possibilities of EFI than of Bulldozer or Sandy Bridge right now.

Imagine UFI combined with SSDs the speed of RAM a few years from now backed by a CPU with enough power to support everything... Switch on your PC and the first thing you see after your monitor comes to life is the Windows desktop

Is the NDA over ? Why do we always need to sign stuff and why on earth do we adhere to it lol... luckily they adapted the Star T**** theme with different colours. The press boards were darn fugly ( Sorry G)
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

I would like to know more about the "Dual Intelligent Processors."
There's the bit I wrote about it here: http://www.vortez.co.uk/articles_pag...seminar,2.html

It's nothing new really but ASUS have amalgamated both for ease of use. The only new thing is the DIGI+ VRM implementation.

but the voltage reading was wrong

you need to read the text and not only watch pictures. coolaler wrote that he set 1.3v for it in bios
