What issue are you trying to solve by checking that?
The broken firmware or the WebBIOS issue?
controllers cant boot when u have PEG on. maybe this is ur problem.
server motherboard dont have that option thats why u havent heard any problems there..

try to set smaller size to packets size for PCIE and disable the PEG option
and post back.
