but i think all is not lost in your case,unlock the bios try 1.16v i bet it would stable and be ok temp wise.
here is my 1.08 vid card with shams unlocked cold bios.
1.16V AIR many repeated runs temps stayed ok
speaking of myths
i have two cards(same 1.08v)the one on dice i found is a poor scorer bench wise.last night 3d03 1050 @1.21v nature would be off 7-8k i found that its just slower when benching then this card
this cards turn for dice now.
