With 6990 being out of the picture, then 6950 and 6970 have to deliver the performance to compete with GTX580. Lets hope they can do that.

@ Sam_oslo don't be too quick to down the 6970 or 6950. We don't know how their performance will be and even if it will be less then the 580 it won't be by much which means those cards will most likely be good value for money. This is pure speculation, but looking at what the 6870 can do, I am sure we'll be in for a surprise when the 6970 gets released.
