I am very disappointed to see this.. First of all, the case is outrageously tall, and does not have the nice proportion the TJ07 had.
Check out the side panel cutouts - ugly as sin.
Perhaps the most disappointment comes from the lack of SR-2 support; not even 10 expansion slots!! The large footprint would be more reasonable if this case supports a larger form factor.
And for 700EUR, I will never take this case. Not even for US$200.![]()
Wow Wait a second, they made that monstrosity, and it doesn't support an SR-2????
So the superior cooling performance over the TJ07 is that you can fit a 4x140 radiator, and not just a 3x140?
Wow, epic failure. I certainly won't be buying it, not at 200, or 700.
Honestly 9 5.25 drives???? The 800d seems brilliant in comparison.
I agree with Wolfskin07, the Silverstone TJ07 is a classic and will always be seen as such! There's not much Silverstone can to do to make an already excellent case better, it's a modders wet dream! If you had seen Wolfskin07 beautifully modded TJ07, I believe most would see why the TJ07 is a excellent case especially for water cooling systems! I do not like the new TJ11 with the cards at a 90 degree angle, I understand why Silverstone is doing this but it just doesn't look sexy. For 700EUR I could purchase an Intel Core i7 920, Asus Rampage Formula and 6GB of tri channel memory, I will still buy the classic TJ07.

Not cool Silverstone :/
It is a shame that it doesn't support the SR2 in its stock form but then it would be even taller which wouldn't be a good thing.
Yes it could support a 140.4 and 140.2 or 140.3 depending on the PSU length or 2x 120.3s with 2 full size PSUs installed, I have the TJ07 and it's a great case but having only 2 92mm fans to draw out all the heat generated by the components isn't very efficient at all now by having those 2 180mm drawing air directly from outside the case will give far better cooling.

On the one hand the TJ07 is an amazing, beautiful case. On the other hand I think we need to get out of our rut and move on. I think a large part of modding is creatively working with new ideas and new materials, and while there have been some jaw-dropping TJ07 builds in the past few months here at XtremeSystems I know that the talent that went into them can inspire a whole new fad that will take shape and mature.
I'm not saying the TJ11 is the future, but let's use this opportunity while it is in the prototype stage to be constructive in our criticism while at the same time trying to be more open to change. Yes, it is hard to be open when the prototype is so shoddy, but with some cleaner lines and a perfect aluminum finish I can see some interesting opportunities. Granted, is the 700EU pricepoint sticks I doubt I will ever be given a chance to experiment on it.![]()

I can't believe Silverstone thought people would even consider spending 700EUR for the TJ11!Even if the TJ07 and the TJ11 were the same price I'd dump the TJ11 in a heart beat!

i dont like the weird non one piece looking front
the things on the side are atrocious
i also really hate how they still have so many 5.25, that you would have to use for a hd if you chucked all the radiators into the bottom, i dont like having to deal with the idea of a ton of sata and sata power cables
the vent is also terrible with the panel blocking parts
and i think what is there like still 7x pci slots in the back/top, at least give us 8
TJ07 is more beautiful than TJ11, but TJ11 is larger than TJ07
this case is pure fail.. seriously..
Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?
ScottALot: don't know about ATCS 840, but once you start going above 3x120 rad-wise, 800D needs lot of moding to perform. Much more so then TJ07.
Signatures make my posts look huge... but I'm not humble enough to completely remove my signature, so I kept this note explaining it.
I have to agree. Considering the bad aura this case has been producing lately, I still feel a lot of people would rip this case apart and turn it into a masterpiece and hopefully justify the price (you never know). This is where raw talent and creativity in modding will play a huge role. However, being at this price point - a lot of peeps will hesitate if its worth a shot or not.On the one hand the TJ07 is an amazing, beautiful case. On the other hand I think we need to get out of our rut and move on
I just cant understand having all the wires from my case popping out of the top![]()
I mean that is repugnant. I mean damn. Put them out the front and get it over with...
Plus they really gotta lose the crappy optical cage slot covers. The suck on the TJ-07 and in the pics of the TJ-11 you can see all the way into the damn case.
that is too large,
I like the front of the case but the rest is a dissapointment. Im sure theres many people here who could of made/designed a better looking and more practical case in terms of watercooling.
The TJ07 still wins for me over the TJ11
Nothing in the TJ series is cost effective enough to even be worth considering as far as I'm concerned. I'd much rather see the money spent go to useful, functional features than lavish aesthetics like curved, extruded aluminum. TJ should stand for Tier Junkie.
is it made of gold? Obsidian or Lian-li's thing or even TJ07 all the way
I saw the case for real in japan last month. It was the aluminum panel prototype, not the plastic one. You could put ud9 gigabyte mobo quad sli . It was easy to take out all hdd bracket from bottom and put them in front without any tool. So you can get a 540 rad in it without any effort. The fans get the air from the side and the airflow was really strong. In japan we have a lian li x2120 in exhibition in a shop nearby so I could compare. The silverstone cannot take sr2 mobo but has a lot more options. I also like the hidden ssds slots. I was like you when I saw the 1st prototype but I love this one. If you don t mod, it s great case, not many things to do to setup a water-cooling monster.
My only complaint was the lack of wheels.
