Yes, I used the SSDPerfAnalysisFS on all drives, including HDDs.

I assumed that the Control I/O was related to TRIM and was going to ask you about that later.
In any case, it's relevant and has to be included, TRIM does interfere with other i/o. (read slowdown)
In case I do more testing using the same VM it will be reflected on any TRIM capable SSD, as long as it's used in single mode.

I believe Ao1 disabled TRIM on his W7 install and rather did the cleaning using the SSD Toolbox on the Intels.

Where do I enable the additional TRIM metrics?
