Windows 7 Enterprise x64

I feel sorta bad that I pretty much aped eva2000's results here, but hey if it works it works . You might note I have a new board I'm playing with; I picked up an open-box P6T7 from Micro Center earlier today for about $200 less than what it's currently going for at Newegg. I haven't decided if I'm keeping it or not but at least I'll get some nice clocks out of it



I also ran slightly different clocks with 178BCLK and the memory at DDR3-2136MHz, uncore 22x rather than 23x as in the first test.

Unfortunately I forgot to do the Everest Bandwidth test with the 23x uncore results for comparison.

Seems a little better than my P6X58D (which is up for sale on eBay ) with my VERY limited testing. I have a 4-Way Classified but I keep trying these Asus boards for some reason

Ok, 2000 C7 in hands..

Each day I know less....

nice it can run memtest the whole night @ 1720mhz 6-6-6-18 1.60v, 2200c8 needed 1,70v for that.

but it can't enter windows...

tried 8GB and that's terrible 1600mhz 6-6-6 was hard to attain.

So, my board isn't good and my CPu is terrible.

Good question though. You see, mathematicians discovered and defined PI for over 2000 years, but still we (even our best computers) can't find the exact value of PI.

That's because our science still doesn't understand a shi*t about the real logic behind the mystery of circle.

So because there are infinitely many points, the 'constant' (quoted because we really can't use it as a value because it's never-ending) never ends. The problem is that our science doesn't have a definition or scientific understanding of "infinite".
Actually, except from quantum-physics (but that's not about circle or PI), the rest of our science doesn't recognize "infinite" as a scientific term.
So, we (and our science) still don't know shi*t about the real logic behind the circle or PI.

But yeah, it's cool to use if for benching, because with wrong logic, you can calculate as much as you want but you will never find the answer, and then benching doesn't run out of digits either.

Currently up and running at 8-8-8-18 TRFC 60, TWR 10, CR 1 at 2000mhz, 1.5v, 1.49v under load. Very cool

I was playing with my memory at 1600 to see how it perform and high tight can perform, these are my results so far...

1600 6-6-6-18 1T, 1.58V, trc 24, trfc 48, performance enhance "extreme" in bios, all other memory settings auto, it looks very promising to me

atm, I´m proud owner of 14GB 2000 C7, 16GB Chrome 2000 C8, 4GB Performance 2000 C9 for testing and HTPC- (unfortunately never had the opportunity to get the 1600 C6 )- and 4GB 2133 Team and 4GB LoVo Kingston for testing as well- I am very satisfied with the ProjectX and was extremely lucky with the batch of 2000C8s I bought- so I think this is still too much but it should be sufficient until DDR4 comes^^

Besides the apparent 2200 vs 2000, the ProjectX is marketed at 2k 7-7-7-21 @ 1.65v. How do those lower timings at 2k play into this? Is the Speed 2200 series CL8 still a better bet?

I'll be buying 1 stick at a time as that's all I have funds for for now :o

as we have probably said before these are EOL(end of the line). You won't be able to find anymore, unless you buy them second hand off someone hoarding some =) like myself send me a PM if your interested i have a 4GB kit unused but won't be cheap there MGH-E black PCB 2200 cas 8 speed series =) the best kind right up there with the Project X 2000 cas7.

Same ram, the C7 might be slightly higher binned. Both will do 2k C7 at 1.65v, though. Ran my 2200 set at 2000 7-7-7-20-64-1T at 1.66v, and I run my 2000 set at 2000 8-8-8-18-60-1T at 1.55v.
