Nice rig & clocks andressergio. I have one of these boards, still tweaking it. "only" at 4.0 stable so far.

Thats great, nice bandwidth/latency on CAS 6 it's the same as my run @ DDR 1960 CAS 8.

I noticed slackening tRAS out helped lower latency at the expense of bandwidth..... dont think it makes any real difference in benchmarks (maybe SPI) but its interesting to see. Also you should be able to tighten tRC & tRFC up to enhance bandwidth anyway.

Also it looks to me that you could depending on vtt etc run just about any Uncore x16, 17, 18, 19 just as easy as jumping from x8 to x10 memory multi. In other words RAM speed is not king Uncore & low latency are.

Looks like you are having as much fun as me!!!

Interesting, the ICH Core voltage appears to make no stability/extra clock difference on my setup even running x8 mem multi with x19 Uncore. I have also run DDR 2100 stable & been up to DDR 2200 (didnt check stability) without touching it. I have mine set manually to 1.1 which I believe is default.

BTW I take it you mean ICH rather than IHC.

i think its an error from everest rob as i shoot it many times and mostly i get 23k on copy, dunno but varies from run to run

yea i just tried your setting and i get 23k too.but with HT on i only get 21k-22k.
in the supertalent thread i was bummed by zsamz's 24k score running 214bclk and he got 24k
i tried with uncore even at x19 and still only 22.8K.but now after seeing your results i think
it was because of HT on.so now im trying to test and see if i can breaK 24k

Playing around with my UD3R which is in my 24/7 box and almost never overclocked. As usual it needs more VTT than my Asus or EVGA boards, but paired with the golden W3570 it's not too bad at 1.44v BIOS set. I wonder if this board droops VTT a lot. The Dominator GT sticks are the 1866 C7s which is why I needed 1.70VDIMM for 2000 7-8-7-20-74 1T.

nice vtt for that OC.my new UD5 and new cpu just wont run 2000 cl8
saw a threat at ocn and they were talking about the UD9 having major vtt vdroop.set 1.69v vtt and real is 1.59v?so im wondering the same with the UD5?

Yes running with HT off. Thats odd to be able to run with HT stable but crash without it. Try lowering voltages, may be to much for having HT disabled. Sometimes to much VTT can also cause instability.
