    That picture could be fake, I never really trust Chinese sources anyway.

    It may be fake, but it may also be in line with my theory that nVidia is trying to keep this as a secret and drop it from the clear sky, right at Cayman.

    That would be quite unexpected and probably not a wise choice. Nvidia needs to tell their potential costumers that they have something better on the horizon because otherwise it's a big risk they'd be jumping ship. Also, since when hasn't JHH been overly confident about new products and promoted them like there was no tomorrow.

    The only reason I could see for this to be a "spy" product is if the availability is going to be minimal at best. That way they could paper launch the product and try to spoil Cayman's parade but not get the huge bash for not being available in stores.

    Yeah, but those "potential costumers" doesn't believe it anyways, after those wood-screws in last round.
    But seriously, keeping it secret to surprise the competitor is nothing new, and it has it's advantages that may be more than disadvantages you mentioned. In case, it will come right at time of the release of Cayman, to avoid those concerns you mentioned.
