    I'm curious about something else guys - the naming scheme.

    If AMD keeps doing this, enxt series will be 7000 series, at the end 2011 8000 series, that means in ~24 months we will have Radeon 9800 ...again

    I feel old.

    Whats interesting is that the R300 came out in 2002, so being back to the 9800's in 2012 would mean 10 exactly generations in 10 years. Pretty awesome

    Are you flamebaiting? You don't think there will be any improvements in technology past 22nm?

    there will be improvement for sure .. but we wont be getting them each year or 2 years .... the industry is starting to slow down ...

    so you think that 16nm will be when intel think its going to happen .. and after that 11nm and then 8 and 4 ???? where do you think intel will have problems as much as to push back their roadmap by maybe 1 or 2 years for that process ???
