Wouldnīt be so sure about that- maybe you just had bad luck- my 1000 C7 need a lot less V than the 2200 C8 and the 2133 C8 I had at 2000 Cas7- hereīs an example, just picked two of my sticks and tried it, these are not my best ones- and my board is not known for being a good C7 clocker, its much better at C8 and 9- for comparison, I had two 2GB sticks kingston here a few weeks ago, they needed 1,7V with higher TRFC and lots of tuning
