I don't want to worry you, but the coolant IS the electrical connection. It's a bunch of charged ions floating in a fluid. You will get galvanic corrosion to some extent even if you are using distilled/deionised water, since this is not the natural state and over time ions anywhere in the loop will dissolve into the water. Think of it like "nature abhors a vacuum", the lack of any ions in the water is pretty similar (although no brand of distilled or deionized is perfectly 100% ion-free). And PT Nuke is copper sulphate solution and other stuff IIRC - there's ions right there you just corrupted your de-ionized loop with.

It seems if you are tearing down and checking regularly you have loop maintenance covered, but don't kid yourself you are are free of issues just because you are using rubber tubing, the fact is that any mix of copper and aluminium means you still have blocks and radiators that will corrode if in the same loop together.
