Im currently using the F12 bios do you recommend me chaning to any of the newer bios that are out there?

I noticed that since i changed to the F12 bios my PC tankes longer to get into windows, maybe because i have 2x500 Raid 0.

I prefer F12 myself. I tried most F13 betas, the reordering of the bios after F12 looks like a mess and has to many unnecessary subcategories to navigate to get to each setting, F13betas are a nuisance for me.

Than just return to older BIOS that was faster at loading the OS.

F9 is great BIOS too but I find F12 the best all around.

Out of all F13 betas the F13M is the one that give me back my OC (4200 with low voltage 1.24V) from the F9...

    Hello

    Firs excuse my english.

I have buy a GA.X58A-UD5 rev.2 and I am not sure abotut the memory to choose.

I am looking for compatility and no problems

    I have to choose between

    F3-12800CL9T2-12GBNQ (2Gx6)

    http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=110

    or

    OCZ 3x2GB DDR3-1600
    OCZ3G1600LV6GK Gold Ed.
    LowVolt 8-8-8-24 1.65V

    http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...triple_channel

    OCZ 3x2GB DDR3-1866
    OCZ3G1866LV6GK Gold Ed.
    LowVolt 10-10-10-28 1.65V

    http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...le_channel_kit

Can you help me? What is the best choice?

    I have seen also

    Runs well OCZ3P2000LV6GK on GA-X58A-UD5 rev.2?

The kit OCZ3P2000LV6GK is compatible with my matherboard (runs well on UD5 rev.2)?

    And the kit OCZ3P1600C6LV6GK?

    Thanks regard

    Hello guys,

I'm here with a problem and would like to know if someone already had something similar or who has heard of this, my gigabyte board X58-UD5 apparently has 1 memory slot (White Slot) that is not working.
I use triple channel 3x1GB but the funniest thing is that in the My Computer properties says "3GB (2GB Being Used)" , and CPU-Z also detects the 3GB and in triple channel, however when I turn the PC says that detects only 2GB of memory, I tried switching bios (F9 to F12) but no resulte,

Can someone can tell me anything about this?
Because i didnt want to send this to RMA and not having a PC for a while appreciate all the answers.

    Regards.

You want to solve the problem? No problem but you'll think it's freaky idea.
I'm telling you that it's working so... get the tooth brush and clean the socket pins. Yes you heard me!
And another thing, what cooler do you have?

I just resolved the problem strange but logical, 1 of my CPU socket pins wasnt exactly lined up once i got it straight and got the CPU in and my Cooler (H50) everything worked fine, its strange but i got it to work that way so if it happens to you guys now you know

That's nothing strange. One socket pin wasn't in contact with the cpu pin which was surely one of the important IMC contacts. As I said before, you can resolve this problem with the tooth brush method. Been there, done that (I know for 4 cases of that).

Bent pins or Over tight / not tight enough heat sink will do that also as the memory controller is inside the cpu.

Put it in the classifieds - it doesn't belong here and will get you in trouble with the mods. There are very specific rules regarding the use of this forum to sell hardware and they take it pretty seriously.

Anyways I'm not resurrecting a 3mo old thread, last post was just a few days ago.

If a mod really gets upset at my shameless self plugging please delete both posts and I'll be fine No worries people
It has nothing to do with resurrecting a thread, it's where you are and are not allowed to sell hardware. There is a classifieds section for a reason - I believe that part the ToS you agreed to when you created your account here outlines specifically that you aren't to attempt to sell things outside of the classifieds.

I was simply warning you that attempting to sell hardware outside the classifieds can get you banned - I was trying to do you a favor. I don't really care, I'm not going to buy it.
