Don't understand the question? If your talking the NB WB it doesn't contact the mosfets, just replaces the passive sink. The EK full coverage block come with pads. I have not yet installed mine but I'm assuming all the required pads are in that pretty looking box the wb comes in.

I'm not watercooling the motherboard. I just want to replace that pad, as it was misplaced from the factory and it's messy. I will be using the stock heatsink.

The mosfets require .5mm pads and the devicces(?) just left and down a bit require 1.5mm pads.

Should I get 1mm and 2mm just to make sure it has very good contact?. I mean more pressure can't be bad right?

It's always best to get the correct size. Thicker will have more contact pressure causing the pad to spread out possibly interfering with other components air cooling path. It can also result in uneven compression of all the pads depending on where hold down screws are, and possibly a little too much stress on the components.
Having said that I believe I recall someone here saying the 1.5mm pads were a tad too thin for the application.
If it where me I'd use the .5's on mosfets and 2mm on the other devices (vrms?), and 1.5mm on the south bridge components.
