I have two questions: what is that (maybe LED stop fitting, maybe just an optical illustion) on the side of the T/Q connector?

Second, how many temperature sensor stop fittings do you have? Are you seriously going to have one on every component? Won't that create unnecessary restriction? I'll have one on my multioption I think, but I can't see the need for more. After a while equilibrium takes over and the water temp plateaus varying no more than a couple degrees from the hottest part of the loop to the coolest.

Slotrod - I have been monitoring your build as well. Keep up the good work. The bottom rad is in push only. Thought about putting some "slipstream" fans on the other side to pull, but never got around to trying it out. If I had to do it over again, I probably would not have mounted the rad in that orientation.

I rarely get out that way with the rare exception being an occasional trip to Cabela's.

Not sure I follow what you mean? Any good as in still alive? Yes. Any good as in the perform well? They get the job done for me.

They do the job ok, but could be better. Bad part is they are a tad too noisy for the work they're doing. That's why I was thinkinking of replacing them with some GTs. Was leaning towards replacement because, overall, I'm not too happy with the Apollish fans and also think they are a bit too flashy for my tastes. Now that I'm tearing this down, it's a non issue. If I use this case with these rads in the future, I will make it a "screamer" and pair those rads with some Scythe Ultra Kaze fans!

Hmm..not sure I know what you mean? The black wire on the side of the T fitting? Optical illusion. On the "inside" of both T fittings are temp sensors. See below.

I have 2 loops, 4 temp sensors. I wanted to measure the delta in the temp of the loop before and after the rad. This was mainly to satisfy my own curiosity, really for no other reason than to see for myself. I knew not to expect much, and my observed data matched my expectations. Only a few tenths of a *C. It would have been smarter to put them both on the inlet and outlet of the rad, but it would not have affected the data by very much at all. Future builds will only have one temp sensor per loop.

Hi.. I know this is a old worklog, but hopefully you will help me.. I wondering how you got the fans on the 240 radiator when you have cut a piece of the bottom out for it.. Can you take a picture from the bottom up and tell me how you handle the fans so the fit to the radiator now when the radiator was stuck under the bottem of the case?
