if you consider i take raw products , powder dyes , then i boil them, filter them, boil them again and rise and repeat 4 times then bottle them, then sticker them up yup i would consider that making a product. I dont use liquids dyes except for optical brightener with is bought in its pure form in bulk.

All so to create some colours i mix several colours to make a single colour again this is making some thing not just pouring it from a bottle. !

come down any time and see you close to me !!!

yup power dyes are not a pure dye they need to be boiled to remove the impurities out of them and then filtered. In large company's they do this in massive vats.

    Blood red - >

    Left Ice Dragon Nano Fluid
    Middle Pure Black + D-water
Right Real Blood Red + D-water

Pure black is a Mix of 90% Deep Purple and 10% Yellow
Deep Blood Red is a mix of 80% Candy red + 10% deep blue + 5% yellow + 5% Crimson red.

I dont know how these compare to what's on the market at the moment but these colours were made with what i all ready make. so any thing is possible.

What you must remember though every persons colour persecution is different.

Can you show a pic of the blood red [ I understand it's in testing ] in some 1/2" tubing if you have any? It looks real dark in that beaker, but I just realized that's because it's a lot wider than a tube *durp*
Signatures make my posts look huge... but I'm not humble enough to completely remove my signature, so I kept this note explaining it.

You can see it in the test tube its still dark. the test tube is only 1 1/2 Cm in diameter.

need to add before i for get these colours are not UV and will not show under UV light at all.

Just need to answer this question i got asked yesterday and promised id post pics up.

Does dyes make water become conductive.

I think these pictures will answer that question ...

Pic 1 5 min sitting still in clear water
Pic 2 dye added (take into account this is a very strong dye)
Pic 3 5min after settling down again.

So the answer is yes. when any dye is added to any liquid the partial size goes up making the liquids change.
Manufactures normally post there none conductivity tests on pure liquids and then move that across the range.
they dont post the real test on the dyed liquids as it would make most the liquids conductive.

Some thing to all ways consider when buying a pre mix from any one !!!!

All so if you wanting a none conductive liquid then dont add any thing to it at all.

I would have shown the pH balance changing as well but my meter fell on the floor and i stood on it

As Mlwood points out, there is no such thing as a dye without conductivity. All dyes, even powders (when in water, of course), will make distilled water conductive. It's simple chemistry, and even Feser can't break the laws of physics.

They can't and they don't. That never kept them from claiming that though.

Erm im close to black after god knows how much messing on and testing but gun metal gray i dont think that would be possible unless Using a dispersant. personally after messing around and further testing of dragon fluids i think we "may" have have come across a better way of colouring there fluids but that is providing big company's actually let me have samples of there products.

Pitty because of resulting matted colors by nanofluid only different shades of gray possible. Imagine if it would be possible to make shiny metallic look like that of mercury!

what people seem to forget is that were mixing light as well as colours. So its not really the same as mixing paints.

As such black when thinner will look purple but to make a pure black black again we add yellow. so to get gray which is normal black + white isnt the same as it will turn purple instead.

dont forget black is a perfect mix of the 3 prime colours but when you go to different depths + light sorce, different colours show though.

So say i do make a perfect black in a 1/2" peace of tubing , you can go stick the same liquid in a 1/8th tube and it will look purple instead.

And i'm guessing that black will need very concentrated dyes?

you hit the nail on the head there.

To make a perfect black in a dye concentrate means its needs to be thick. the problems is after loads of testing even when its like this its still not perfect.

I got my purple in the mail today. It took about a month to get here, so I'm guessing customs had a field day with it. Nevertheless I'm incredibly impressed with what I got

And a huge thanks to mlwood37 for his superb customer service!

My pictures don't really do the color justice, but you get the idea.

    Well its none stop work

I was asked to create a Oil black so after a bit of goggling and buying some oil i realised that oil isn't black but a greenish black and after a few days i have managed to crate what we will call oil black.

How ever this will only be released in a premix as Concentrate dye is way to hard to estimate as many people put in different amounts All so this will be a Limited run.

    Pics below

I would Like announce that "specialtech" over at http://www.specialtech.co.uk Are our official reseller in the UK.

This is a proud moment for me and was one of my goals getting a "Excellent" UK reseller.

Once i get enough re-sellers i will be closing down my shop and turning it into a Product only web site. The shop was only there to get dyes out to people who couldn't get them.

Thank you to every one for all there help and keep an eye out on my site for more up and coming news.

Why is the color different in the tubes and in the res? Is it because of the different materials?

nice video..we have one being made of our nanofluid too.. you need to tell the video guy to lay off the caffeine..his hand was crazy-shaking. I think the color is different because you are looking through a different thickness in the res as compared to the tubes...maybe that's why
