If you need I have a EK V1 250ml tube I could ship to you. It is slightly scratched (not badly at all, really cant tell when installed and full). Where are you located?

I put my second pump in the optical cage. I drilled 5/16" holes and used vibration dampeners for acoustics. I really prefer this way over a double top as the loop options are superior. I Skyped Skinnee and talked to him about the likelihood of burning a pump out and he said I was fine if I the pumps were kept in the left of the power curve, which I will be doing via BigNG and MiniNG.

This allows you to really tweak your loop separation, even tho it has been proven that it does very little to improve temps by more than a half degree. In my books a half degree is worth trying to get

It seems that koolance has done an about face over the last couple years and has become a company I would consider. So if it suits your needs I would go for it. I have never had any of thier stuff other than a CPU backplate LOL.

If you need that res tube, LMK and I am sure we can work something out
That's very generous of you... I'm still trying to decide which way to go, but it's good to know that I have that as an option, as they are not very easy to find these days since the X2's were released. Thanks.

Regarding the broken tube - it had a hairline crack where the threads ended, most likely from tightening it too much... incredibly, without much pressure at all I was able to break the other end off as well! During leak testing, I had noticed some small drops of water appearing on the outside of the tube which didn't make sense to me at the time... good thing this happened while the system was shut off and not much water in the tube.

I really like iandh's reservoirs, so am thinking of giving his a go... I just think the square XSPC reservoir looks pretty terrible in the case and would much prefer to stick with a cylindrical one... too bad the iandh is so damn expensive... hoping in this case you get what you pay for - I've heard great things about the workmanship of his products, and the clamps look great as well.

Something else I was thinking of was going w/the Koolance top mentioned above, but instead of using 1 large res tube, going with 2 smaller ones along with the Koolance Reservoir Coupler with 2 nozzle sockets, so that the CPU outlet can end up in the middle of the reservoir tube without having to go down to the bottom... just a thought.

This project is becoming a serious drain on my pocket for sure...
