    Ok now this looks very very nice; certianly a whole heck of alot better than the current batch of integrated kits.

    yes we will continue offering the 350 series.

    The 35X will ONLY be available with the Swiftech top (which I forgot to mention can also be fitted with an optional res), and will -obviously - be covered under our 2 year warranty.

    This top sounds pretty sweet and is making the MCP35X sweet by association too

    A single-SKU DDC3.25 (with PWM wiring) and high performance top (with option for res attachment) under warranty is really unique and sounds like it could be a big hit

    Perf of the new kits is necessarily a tiny little better in an apple to apple (dual rad to dual rad) since there is less flow restriction, but it is minimal. It's essentially the same. But the performance RANGE is infinitely (an intentional exageration) superior with the new PWM pump. it's a subjective thing for me, because I always hated the noise of the 350 series compared to the 650's. I love being able to run my pump and fans at silent level for day-to-day, and crank up the speed to the max for benching!

    Hey new pump sounds very cool. where does the PWM signal get pulled from, is it gona have a front mounted controller board or is it just going to jack onto a MB fan headder ?

    its connected to the MB CPU_fan header. Tried the zalman PWM fan controller, and couldn't get it to work.
    You can also access the BIOS from Windows with many mobos.

    Max performance between 355 and 35X are identical.

    Hmm, so it's not with higher head of 3.25. Well, silence/flexibility of PWM regulation has great value in itself anyway, and even 355/3.2 have sufficient head pressure for most loops.

    The PWM 35X is the same PCB and impeller as the 3.25.

    Here is an exclusive preview of the MCP35X with its optional reservoir, adjustable in 6 fixed orientations.

    Note that I will not comment much further on this product, since I am really focusing on the kits right now..

    Very nice kit Gabe, been waiting a long time for something like this, you mentioned in an email to me a few months back that something like this was cooking, it was the horizontal mounting that to date was missing.....Again, very nice stuff......

    320 kit will be ordered when it's available.

    However, a quick question, if the system is mounted horizontally at the top of the case, it will basically have to be taken out to fit? Unless you have a fillport drilled directly above it into the case which attaches to the radiator.

    Also, how do you know the reservoir level? I presume my opening the cap and looking inside? Maybe in the future you could do a small acrylic/clear window (like a runway strip) showing the level of liquid inside?

    What size tubing/barbs are they? I presume 7/16" 5/8"? Will they fit 3/8" 5/8" compressions? (I presume not 1.2" 3/4" due to no reversible ports?)

    Now that's something truly unique and promising for a long time.

    Just a few questions if you don't mind?

    1. What kind of flow rate can we expect at the lowest pump speed for both 220 and 320 kits?



    2. Can the radiator and pump operate vertically when mounted sideway like the MCR320 in the above render?

    3. Perhaps powering the pump from a 4-pin molex, while routing PWM and RPM signals to the mobo header would be a more conservative approach? After all, a MCP355 draws up to 18W peak power.

    4. Are the fill ports using standard thread sizes?

    3. MCP350 and MCP355 already have their power wires on a 4-pin molex connector and the tach wire on a separate 3-pin connector. They probably replaced the 3-pin by a PWM style 4-pin and kept the PSU style 4-pin molex for the power wires.

    4. I think Swiftech said they were switching all their PG11 fill port to G1/4, probably the case here.

    Yup.. I'm still running a MCP350 here. Just hope to confirm on this aspect.

    Yes, Molex has the 12v and Ground, and PWM plug has tach and PWM wires.


    And just a couple more photos since I had the unit in the photo tent.


    All ports are G1/4.

    Philwong, in regards to question number 1, at 1300RPM (0% PWM duty, a.k.a., minimum speed), the MPC35X/DDC3.25 should provide less pumping power than a D5 at setting 1.

    Its hard for me to visualize since I'm only have a D5 with RPM output. Is it sufficient to support multiple blocks on top of the 2 or 3 x 120mm rad?

    It'll work, but if you increase the speed, temperatures will improve. 55% duty looks to be roughly equivalent to a DDC3.1, and should be a hair behind your D5-B (and probably be quieter).

    We seriously had to put our ears next to the pump, because they were so quiet.

    You heard the fans over the pump, and they were super quiet fans.

    You guys heard me raving about the PWM DDC when i first saw it at CES.
