Quick question, the sli bridges for the R3E are universal right? Like you can use them with other mobos and vice versa? Just wanted to double check but I don't see any problem...

I like the classified tri sli bridge better that's why

right, sli bridge has nothing to do with the motherboard. as long as length permits, use the one you like ...

Well, I like them. Had the best results with strange numbered BIOS'es.

hmm warning for some ppl

i tested two r3e's bought one from malaysia and another from singapore

my gt 2k c7's run at 1.6v confirmed with dfi and evga
plugged in to R3e's.. it ran at 1.58ishv bios set
i was like eh...
plugged in the dmm..

the rams voltage overvolts by 0.02v which now makes sense why its yellowed above 1.6v in bios
tested with qpi llc enabled ( will check later whether did this cause the overvolt)

tested again for vtt.. it overvolts by 0.019v almost similar.
tested on cpu vcore.. its exact.. quite close to the bios set the load and idle.. so screw the probe reading.
aka 1.3v set 100% load line.. idle read 1.294v.. load read 1.306v

tested on ioh,ich... it undervolts by 0.008v

so have fun ppl.

I tested mine the first day I bought it and it overvolts everything by .010-.015V.
I guess it's OK when you know it.

It would be nice to have some table in BIOS, so we can offset every voltage after DMM measurement and make it same when set, read and measure.

Did you take the VDIMM measurement at the DIMM socket under full load? IF you did, fair enough it's a slight overvolt. If not, measure VDD at one of the pins in the socket near the top side of the board (furthest away from the FETs) and monitor what the voltage is under full load.

Hi people..

So far loving this board.. gives me alot more stability then classy or either rampage 2..
well, for me at least..

Will post some screenies soon. Having 1 weird problem tho, everest, linx and windows all read either 2g, 4 or 6.. every time i reboot i get something else..
Have taken them out an replaced, also rebooted with just 1 module and tested them seperately.. they are fine as far as i can tell atm.. anyone had this prob ?

I think i fixed it.. raised qpi/dram a few notches, now it shows 6gigs again.
gonna boot a few times to see if its ok.

Just noticed the temps on north and south.. earlier 56 degrees and now 76.. hardly done any increasement in speed !

puzzles me, then again alot puzzles me \0/


Edit: Did a reboot, changed absolutely nothing, and now ive got 6 gigs again :/

BTW, check those temps. If you need to, reinstall heatsink while reapplying thermal paste. Anyway, check it, maybe you moved something out of place while removing/reinstalling memory sticks

so fixed my d1 issue, was just in gaming only stress testing was fine, but installed BIOS 0011, lowered BCLK from 203 to 202 and yeah nearly played through AvP

Ram shows correct now.. ive messed it up before i guesse, also unscrewed my cpu waterblock and refitted.. maybe too tight at first lol..
