Edit: Here's my P965 chipset at 333 x 6, 333 x 9 and 333 x 11

Memory bandwidth is basically the same for x6 and x9 and then goes down a little when switching to x11.







I don't know if this answers any questions or proves anything. Maybe the chipset changes some internal timings slightly when you start playing with the multipliers in the Extreme CPUs. My last screen shot shows how MemTest86+ screwed up reading the memory timings. They were exactly the same for each screen shot.
