First I'm not overclocking my sys. at the moment but every time I install ET6 start it show my 7850 @2800 then it will change to 1431. I have the same problem with CPUz 1.55 and below. when I reboot sys. and go into bios it show my CPU @ 2800. I have all my settings in bios at auto. I've change the settings in ET6 to reflect what my CPU should be (2800) save the settings reboot with the same results. It'll show 2800 then revert back to 1431 after a few seconds. This happens in both Win XP 32 bit and Win7 64 bit. With out and with both programs installed my system is stable. I should mention that I didn't have this problem under Win XP 64bit. An yes ET6 is the newest release.

Update for my problem with ET6/CPUZ reporting my CPU at half (1431 and not 2800). I wasn't aware of win7 having power setting. It was set to achieving best power consumption. I turned it on for performance. Now both programs show the proper speed. Now I've set it to run at 3000. Now I'll check out WinXP 32 bit. I'm sure it has the same problem.

Has any one tryed the Phenom ll 560 BE on this board, if so what memory did you use and what is the highest you've been able to oc? I've seen it go for $75.00 at Fry's. Thats $3.00 less then what I payed for my Athlon 7850 BE.

Guys, just for the record, I bought a Phenom II X4 965 stepping C3 for my system, and now it is rock stable. I've had no cold boot lockups anymore. I'm with BIOS version F8G. Seems like the fixed memory controller indeed improves stabillity in this motherboard.
The only weird thing that I noticed is that the BIOS set the CPU VID as 1.325V as default, but this processor is rated for 1.37V. I manually set it at 1.35V without issues.
The only drawback with this processor is that it consumes a lot of power as compared to my previous 720BE.
UPDATE: Forget what I said. I had a lock up in a cold boot yesterday. I've upped the CPU N/B VID +0.025V and it didn't occur again. Let's see. But it seems that this M/B is poorly designed. Too bad, because it seemed to be a good choice...![]()

Just got the 555 BE on Sunday, unlocked it on Sunday and its be running fine. I really haven't had time to very much overclocking. But I did up the multiplier from 16 to 17.5 hit 3500 with out any problems. Ran prima95 for two hours with out a problems. I have a Corsair H50 cooler and my CPU didn't
even get over 32C. with load. The only question I might have is about ACC.
and what the % has to do with the unlocking of the cores. What effects it will have. Right now BIOS set tham all to 2%.

Anyone running 2X4GB DDR3 with a MA790XT-UD4P?
I've been running 2X2GB F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH Ripjaws with my 1055T at 1642 7-7-7-20-27 1T 90ms 5 for most others (308 with 3/8 mem divider, since the 1600 divider is problematic) completely stable, CPU@4004 and IMC @ around 2800 IIRC (at work ATM).
I bought a set of 2X4GB F3-12800CL7D-8GBRH Ripjaws, but they won't post at that speed. Even relaxing timings to 9-9-9 will post but not boot windows.
I'll take another run at it tonight, but trying to decide if I need to RMA (and eat shipping) or if it is a limit of the mobo, ram, or IMC. There is a thread on these sticks in extreme bandwidth where chew* has decent results, but with a CHIV formula. I may try the GSKILL forum as well, but I know they'll whine about weak AMD IMC's.
Will also try upping IMC volts a tad when I get home.
