    That's a nasty one, it gets really hot without active cooling. But it is rated for high-temp, MAX 96'C (if i remember right). But that's the absolute MAX that would kill the chip, and it is good idea to keep it cooler. I'm using a moded Intel i7 stock fan on reduced speed, and it is keeping under 65'C, quietly.

    Where did you mount the fan? It's a pretty tight fit in that area in the Lian-Li PC-P80.

    There is space right on top of, at least in my little SilverStone FT01, but it is a tight fit. You need a small fan and that's why I've used a moded Intel's stock i7 cooler. I had to cut 3 legs, and trim the last one to hock behind the MB, it is still hanging in there .

    I've also tried another option which works fine. If I mount my Noctua NH-D14 vertically (blowing top-down), then the top of the cooler stays right in line with the PWM cooler. Then I can mount the 140mm fan on top and push it backward to blow right on PWM. It worked fine for me, and keeps almost the same temp.

    Hello, my SR-2 arrived today, I have one more question, can connect processors together different model?

    I have 2x (X5550) and 1x (X5650), i wanted to put an x5550 with a x5650, does it works?

    anyone ever tried?
