    I7 920 High BCLK runs on REX3

    Hello guys .

I hadn't benched for myself for 15 months now ... so it was about time to bench my old 920 which seems to be good enough .

    Asus Rampage Extreme III
    Corsair Dominator GT 2000CL7

    Intel i920 @ Cascade Cooling -90C

The CPU has more to give under a better cascade and of course under LN2 .

Too bad i don't have a kit of Corsair GTX2 .The scores would be much better ...

Today i'm leaving for vacations and i'll be back after 1 week .

    Take care .

Thank you everyone for your kind words .

I have to say that REX3 is an amazing board . With every newer bios it just gets better and better .

The only downside is the slow qpi mode you have to select , in order to achieve 240+ BCLK . This is the limiting factor for 3d benches under high BCLK condition .

    5.4 jeebus.. nice!

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

It varies from board to board. My R3E have no problems running 245 mhz blck without slow mode enabled.

    But nice blck

    Max frequency at -90c is around 5550Mhz @ 1.6v (264 BCLK) . I'll push it further under LN2 .

Thanks chispy for your kind words .
Yes , i have stopped benching for more than a year ... and i don't know if i'll come back. It's an expensive hobby if you want to play hard . I preffer to bench with my friends though and help them when i can.

I had qpi slow mode at all benchmarks . I can't bench with highspeed qpi at BCLK higher than 238Mhz .

The Batch is 3912a845 . I have it on my daily PC for more than a year .
But ... before you start searching for this batch , let me tell you that i had 2 cpu's with the EXACT same batch . The other 3912a845 was the crappiest of all the 920 i had ever tried . No BCLK , No uncore ... and couldn't run linx above 4.1Ghz even watercooled .

    awesome!
    I pushed up to 135mhz Pci-e for the spi1m & pifast run . To be honest i didn't see any benefit over 125Mhz .

    Thank you all guys !!!!
