With help, I will eventually build a PC. Hopefully.
Was wanting to know what these connectors are:

nils tool! AWESOME! sry bad photography.. my camera phone -- this tool has done me wonders and made sleeving so much easier!
i7 930 - 4Ghz
Prolimatech Megahalems Rev.B
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5
3x2gb Corsair Dominator
ATi 5770 CF
Seasonic X750
Anyone want to sleeve a PSU for me? I messaged multiple people and didnt get any responses.. will ship PSU to u and provide supplies if needed.. corsair hx850 black/red
Um... You'll have to pay good coin to get a member to sleeve. Sleeving a whole PSU will probably set you back around $150.00
Changing colors from blue/black or whatever from the other one I did for you?
Here's a real question.... roughly how much sleeving would one need for "assorted" stuff? I have it calculated to ~20m for the 24, 8, and 6 pin cables but I don't know how much (roughly) it would take for all of the fan cables (would be sleeving an entire Sentry 2... roughly 3m?) and all the front panel connectors. Just a ballpark, I was thinking probably 30-40m total for the whole system.

Got 30m, getting 40m drove the cost of shipping up another $10 :P too cheap for that!

Hey, does any one know with certainty if the color coding on most high-end PSUs is accurate enough so that if I cut the 24 pin in half I could just match red with red, yellow with yellow etc and be fine?
Normally I label every wire but I'm pressed for time on this build...
*EDIT*
Meh. I'm just going to recrimp. Nil's tool is fast anyways. =D

i wish a have read your theat sooner, but any way:
sance im nearly all the time on tight bugget i tend to make my own tools and recyle all connectors cabes and bits of peases of any kind, and so you may ask where do i go with this?! well lets get to the point; i have taken a small screwdriver and grind it down with a bench grinder of corse. results are just "Ahh, Its just what I needed!".

SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH!
awesome sleeving dudes, u all put me to shame![]()
Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?
I'm also curious about the connectors used in this pic.. particularly the square one in the middle and the longer one at the bottom right of the pic?
it REALLY cleaned up the wires on the back of the case.. My antec 1200 looks pretty ridiculous on the back and i have to exert pressure to close the side panel![]()
Silverstone SG-02F, Intel Core i5 760, Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2, XFX ATI HD Radeon 5850, Corsair Dominator 2x2GB DDR3 1600, OCZ Vertex 2 120GB, Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB, XFX 650W Grey

Also, I wanted to note to those that are trying to sleeve the 24-pin mobo connector on Antec PSU's, it's pretty difficult to get those out.. The technique is the get your pin removal tool onto the sidewalls of the pin.. You then have to push IN the wire before you push in the wire removal tool.. after you've pushed in the wire as far as possible, push in the pin removal tool ALL the way.. Now, you can proceed in pulling out the wire you were trying to remove..
This technique helped most of the time in getting those square connectors out (6+2 pin pci-e, 20+4 pin mobo, 4+4 cpu).. Only experience truly teaches you how to do things.. be sure to give it a shot! Good luck!

What size (mm) I need to 6pin, 8pin and 24pin?
