Good question. I have the CMG version which is Rev2.2 and uses Elpida BBSE, but those ICs are out of production. I'm guessing the kit you linked is using PSC chips since those seem to be the only things memory manufacturers can get their hands on that will clock decently.

I do not know this type of chip (PSC), but it would be good for overclocking? Thanks for the reply!
