No Johnny87au, it is impossible to run 2000MHzUncore when your memory frequency 2200 (with Gulftown lowest Uncore is memory frequency x 1.5 - so 2200Mhz need almost 3300MHz Uncore).

This is only a formula to calculate true CAS Latency of the memory modules. It shows the time (40.89ns) required to access memory at a given CAS and memory operating frequency.

btw: Nice thread and benching hiwa

yeh i know its a formula to calculate the latency etc but what is the 2000 in this? i know the 2200 is the memory speed..
    6 X 2000 / 2200 = 5.45XX

Edit i think i got it, ur running 4000 uncore right hehe.. i know how to work out this formula im just not sure what the 2000 is..

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

    if you go calculate
    2000 mem 7-7-7-21
    VS
    2000 mem 8-8-8-18

    WITH FIX RTL AND UNCORE

    7 + 7 + 7 + 21 = 42ns
    8 + 8 + 8 + 18 = 42ns

please someone try this with Setted RTL in bios

    They are examples guys

    @hiwa

Nice review you got here same as your other one with the G.Skill DDR3-2133 3x2GB Perfect Storm Kit

Which between the 2 is better? Which of the 2 would you choose? This or the G.Skill DDR3-2133 PS?

    TIA!

    Cheers!
