I'm using the Nikon D40, quíte old, but still very capable. Only using the objective you get with it. Would be fun to have a widescreen objective and a macro objective to. But it's not worth the money atm. :P

The plan is to receive the case, then start to fit the LC and the components. Sleeve the PSU and fans, etc. and do some windowmodding and probably move the PSU from the back, above the MB to in the front, standing vertically. You want to show the goddies, don't you. :P I also would love some more SSDs, maybe 2 or three 100GB+. But I guess I have to settle with my 64GB Kingston SSD and some 2.5" mechanical HDD's.

Here's some updates for you. The PSU that I received from Misco.se

    24pin ATX

    2x PCI-e 6pin

Have molex, Sata and the newly molded 8pin atx to do before it's finished.

Oh my god. This is beautiful. Scratch that. Beautiful doesn't do it justice! I have a D40 too but my pictures are absolutely nowhere near as good as yours I need to seriously improve my picture skills. The sleeving and braiding of your 24 pin cable is interesting! I love new ideas and I must say that you have many of them. Can't wait to see the rest of the build!

I've gone fully manual on my D40. I take the pictures with a really long shutter-time (Right word?) and a high F number (f36) which give me a wide focus area and crispy photos. I've learned using the camera during this project.

Thank you for your comments. I work quite hard to be kind of original with this build. The braids and the colors are the product of that.

Just braid it and then stick the two colored cables where you want it after you've braid it. That's how you do the ATX. Then other is just a 3 row braid. Lay the one you last moved over the one in the middle.. :P

Very Nice so far. I really like the colour choice for the sleeving.
I would love to get your opinion on the Enermax TBSilence Fans, they look great, but do they move much air and are they quiet? I am on the fence between these fans and the Scythe S-Flex series (the Enermax ones definatley look better). Let me know your thoughts, but so far so good. Looking forward to seeing moar.

Haven't been able to test 'em out yet. But they have the same design as the cluster and magma, so the performance should be great, and they're probably a bit noisy.

    Thank you!

It's really hard to build and it's in no way a plug'n play build. There's alot of thinking and remodeling needed and I can't say it's easy in anyways. Some tears shed, but now it's going in the right direction!

haha mik snake love it.. Rare and different sleeving colours! Putting together your build with half your case apart! using nature to living up your shots! 3 pages with 10000 pics! love it mate.. keep up the good work!

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

I'll make room for it in the middle of the case. So it can somewhat bloom. I want my HW to show, and I want my LC to be in the center of attention. In no way is that possible with a PSU blocking it all.

I'm going to Spain on vacation 1 week and will begin to mount the PSU after that.

I really don't like the look of last pics. All that wiring looks messy in that small space. Probably unbraided wires there would look cleaner imho.

It will be more controlled later. Now I'm just fitting the hardware, trying to see how it's possible to mount everything.
