***Asus Rampage III Extreme Owners Thread***

Quick question to current owners - are those extra holes on the motherboard near the cpu for a Socket 775 mounting?

I have a D-Tek Fuzion waterblock on my current system, and would love to be able to re-use it on my next purchase.

I'm debating the Maximus III Extreme vs the Rampage III Extreme. I like the fact that the new i7 875 is an unlocked CPU, I'd like to get a stable 4.5Ghz out of my overclock. But ... the 1366 is a better overall platform, and allows hex-core ... decisions decisions!

its got 775 holes recycle your d-tek its still a verry good block
better chance to hit 4.5 with 1366
hex core is overated lol
and so is the rexIII
you can get a 1366 bracket for you D-tek
i got a 760 classified commin i'm sure its better
